CLEAR ROUND JUMPING
Throughout the year we run several Clear Round Jumping competitions. The jumps start small and get bigger and we encourage everyone to have a go. Rosettes are awarded to each clear round and the rider at the end of the year who has ridden the most clear rounds will become our Clear Round Champion and take home a special rosette. These competitions are aimed at our regular riders who wish to do something different.

HELPERS CLUB
Riders who wish to be more involved on the yard can join our Helpers Club. There is a minimum age of 10 years. Riders will be able to experience more hands on care of the horses and be more involved with the riding lessons, helping younger riders. Helpers will work through a Training Plan and complete Log Books in Equestrian Care. Once a Helper has achieved the first log book at Entry Level, they will go on to the Helpers Star Award Scheme and be awarded 'stars' for helping. Once sufficient 'stars' have been earned the completed Star Award Card may be exchanged for a riding lesson. Helpers can also achieve the British Horse Society Riding School Certificate of Competence.

TAKE BACK THE REINS
This 7 week course is aimed at new and lapsed adult riders.
As a small group you will groom and tack up your horse, with assistance if needed, and enjoy lessons with a friendly instructor. We usually aim to ride out on a hack during the 7 weeks and include a session on how to lunge a horse. These sessions aim to build confidence in horse handling as well as riding, whilst improving your knowledge about horse care. Riding is a gentle way to get exercise and fresh air and have a little fun long the way. (There is currently a rider weight limit of 12 stone/76kg).
